Anthony Amato Freda Jr., 48, passed away on Thursday September 27, 2012.
He was born in Newark, NJ and was a longtime resident of Denville, NJ.
Anthony served in the United States Army National Guard, attained the rank of Sergeant Major, and was deployed multiple times and served a tour in Afghanistan in support of OIF and OEF. He was employed as a Quality Controller for the Shaw Group.
Anthony was predeceased by his father Anthony Amato Freda Sr.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Jane, his two daughters, Loren and Catherine, and his mother Carmela Freda, and his sister, Sabrina Toomey and her husband Joe, and his four nephews, Charles Standridge III, Paul and Damon Neistadt and Christopher Toeledo.
Funeral services from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Monday at 9am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary’s Church. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to, Cancer Treatment Center of America 1331 East Wyoming Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19124.
