Laurene A. Sannipoli, 74, passed away on Friday February 7, 2014 at her home in Denville, NJ Laurene was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa and was a resident of Denville since 1966. She was a graduate of Wilkes Barre General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1959 and received her BSN from St. Joseph's College in Vermont. She was the Director of Emergency Services at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville for 30 years' service and retired in 1997. After her retirement she was employed at EMA, Emergency Medical associates for 5 years. Laurene was an avid Bingo and Pinochle player. Laurene was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2000. She is survived by her son David P. Sannipoli, and her daughter Nancy Young and her husband Jack, and her two grandchildren, Christopher Sannipoli and Megan Young, and her sister, Nancy Koury, and her two nieces, Denise and Michelle. Services will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Laurene on website), on Wednesday February 12th at 8:45am for a 10am mass of Christian burial service at St. Mary's Church, interment service at Denville Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday February 11th at the funeral home from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
