To the families of Laurene, I just learned of Laurene's passing and sorry for your loss. I have good memories of working at St Clare's, and having Laurene as a supervisor. When people ask, when did you work at St Clares, I mention Laurene's name, amongst others that carry the same legacy and often get a response..."You worked with the best of them". That is so true. My thoughts are with you during this time., and I certainly never forget the impact she made on me and I can speak for others that worked with her in the ER and in other departments in St Clares. Dave Nancy and Families,
Although this time is very sad and difficult you have some many happy memories to cling to. Your Mom made an impact on everyone she met and how many lives did she change/save as a professional? Only God Knows! My frequent interactions in the ER over my 20+ years in EMS were always compassionate, controlled, and caring. Exactly the same as all the other interactions over the years at Gardner Field and MK or just around town. I am sure your Dad was waiting for her when she arrived in heaven. And as Michelle and Steve said "the hill" lost another angel!
Praying your pain is bearable in the coming days and weeks. She loved well and was loved well in return.
