My first memory of my Aunt Mimi was this beautiful lady that was coming to stay with us. She had cat eye glasses (which were very stylish at that time) and high heels, and wore eyeliner, and sometimes she would let me sneak into her room at night and let me snuggle with her.
Fast forward to the wonderful news that we were going to get some new cousins and a new Uncle (Howard). She moved to West Milford and every weekend either our family went to see them, or they drove to Mt Tabor to visit us.
Then the house next to us was for sale and they purchased it and...as they say...the rest is history.
Mimi, Fifi (my Mom), Aunt Carole, and Aunt Sally were only a town or two away and so sisters and cousins were able to spend many happy hours together. I believe that Mimi is with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Paul, and her sisters who have passed, but most importantly with her Lord whom she loved.
