I can't even count the many nights that Mr. Weingartner either picked up our ridiculous group of girls, or dropped us off at a dance, or a party, while growing up in Scotch Plains.....he was always very graciious, if not probably confused by our silliness....I still remember his many words of wisdom - among them..."if you have a ham pocket, eat ham, if you have a steak pocket, eat steak".... we'd laugh, but how right he was! George Weingartner was a good and decent man - may he rest in peace. Our love and condolences to Eva, George, Diane Wendy, Cheryl and Michael, and your famlies, with love from Barbara and Peter DiBonaventura (Rabasca) and Doris Rabasca.
