Gene and I were very close back in high school, and in a band called Total Eclipse. Gene was a great guy and a lot of fun. We listened to music together often, and even drove to Bearsville N.Y. looking for Todd Rundgren. I only wish we stayed in touch more after I moved to Ca. I'm so sorry he's gone! Gene was a fantastic person and a great teacher. He inspired me to become a better musician and to continue to pursue all of my goals in both music and in life. I will always remember him as one of the most inspirational people I have ever been lucky enough to know. My thoughts are with his family.
