Obituary of Denis John Ferfecki
Please share a memory of Denis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Denis John Ferfecki, of Belvidere, formerly of Rockaway Township, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 31, 2016. He was 50 years young.
Denis was a very smart man. He attended College and went on to Chubb Institute to help his career of being an IT Specialist. Since he was 5 years old, fly fishing was a passion in his life. He started out at the Hibernia Firehouse fishing, and ended up helping children catch fish on opening day every year with the fishing contests they held. He was an avid outdoorsman, handyman, and had a love for cars and music. He was a honorary member of A Hook and Cook Cabin at Montague. Above anything else, his family was his world. He was a phenomenal husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He left a legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and courage that will live on in hearts and souls of his family and friends.
Left to keep his legacy alive is his beloved wife of 22 years, Laura M. (Palazzolo); his cherished children, Erik and Emma; his adored parents, Richard and Carol Ferfecki; his caring brother, Craig (Regina) Ferfecki; several loving aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4th from 4 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in Denis's memory for their children's education fund to Laura Ferfecki, c/o Norman Dean, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834.
