Jeanne D. Jacobus, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
Born in West Orange, Jeanne has been a Denville resident since 1950. She was a loving, caring, and kind soul, friend, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed and live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Left to keep her legacy alive is her adored children, Karen Jacobus (Jason Prouty), Tim Jacobus, and Patti Jacobus; her cherished grandchildren, Rachel and Nicholas Prouty, Jack Jacobus, and Megan, Briana, and Caylee Horohoe; and her caring former husband and friend, William Jacobus.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 5:00 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. Memorial Visitation will take place prior to the Service from 3 – 5 pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jeanne's memory to the ASPCA, Attn: Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929. Please leave a condolence for her family.
