My deepest sympathies with all of you on the loss of Jeanne. She was a truly wonderful person. I'll never forget the neighborhood picnics, and NY Eve adult bash with the men banging pots & pans and the women laughing.
Mrs. Jacobus went out of her way for me during one particular birthday party for Karen. I didn't care for pizza so she cooked me up pasta w/butter and cheese. Sharing out backyards gave me an insight into what an amazing woman she truly was.

To Jeanne's dear family,
I remember many nice conversations with Jeanne as she raised and lowered the flag every day in the triangle. She was so lively and engaging and gracious. And interesting. What a lady. She will always be with us.
My deepest sympathy,
Bill Steele

DearJacobus's!
My hopes and dreams and best wishes are with you. What a childhood we all had on our Rockridge lake block of wonderment. I remember your mom always having a smile and encouraging us as kids. She was fantastic. Her red hair rocked! Remember the neighborhood block picnics at Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day? Whoa babe...no one does them like Jersey folks. Such good times and memories...lots of games, badminton, whiffle ball, horseshoes, hide and go seek, the bar-b-ques full of food, a keg of beer and a keg of rootbeer too. One Labor Day at your backyard your mom's brother-in-law brought some great fireworks...as he always did. The grand finale' and right before we all headed back to school was when he lit the little olde school house which went up in smoke with loud booms and ear spliting bangs and sizzling colors galore...it so excited us all.
With love, life, and kindness, Thank you Mrs. Jacobus, a lot. All the very best, take good care, kevin
