James Andrew Considine, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Denville and Columbia, NJ passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home. He was 66 years young. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 16th at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church. Interment to follow at Denville Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. James was born on April 22, 1949 to the late John and Anna Burke Considine. He was a member of the Army Reserve and worked as an ironworker for over 30 years. James proudly ran his own steel construction business and also served his community as Mayor of Knowlton Township. He enjoyed traveling in the past few years, and spending time with his family.
Predeceased by his wife Linda Smith Considine (2011), his parents, and his brother Edmund; he leaves only happy memories to his sons Timothy (Amanda) of Columbia, NJ, and Devin (Stephanie) of Knowlton, NJ; sisters Alice Considine and Anne Jensen (Ode) all of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, Jocelyn and Dylan; niece, Renee Hubert; and nephew Brian Considine
