Mario Romano of Kunkletown, PA passed away suddenly on August 23, 2015 in Wildwood, NJ.
He was 83 years young.
Born in Sicily, Italy he was raised in Malta before coming to the United States on April 15, 1951. He had lived in Denville, NJ for many years before moving to Kunkletown, PA 30 years ago.
He was employed as the head mechanic for the American Can Company, first in Jersey City, and retired from the same company 30 years later that was relocated to Edison, NJ. He was a proud United Steel Worker Member. An avid Jets fan, he had his proudly restored 1957 Oldsmobile painted Jets green.
Mario was a devout Catholic that taught himself the Bible. He had a lifelong passion for music, passed down from his mother, which enriched the lives of all that knew him. Above all, he was a fantastic husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will sorely be missed.
