Dad where do I begin? It's been 9 long months since you left us and I am just getting around to writing this to you. I am still in shock. I still can't believe that you and mom are no longer with us. You will forever be with us but things will never be the same. I constantly think about telling you and mom about things going on in our lives but then I quickly realize that you already know because I know your both with us all. i know because I feel your presense, its unexplainable... Thank you for the wonderful life you and mom created for us, thank you for all the years of heartache supporting us and thank you for the wonderful children you made it possible for us to create and nurture in the same loving ways you and mom loved us all. I am looking forward to my grandchildren some day soon and I can't wait to pass on all your good traits you both instilled in us. Thank you dad for all the things and trade skills you taught me. please be at peace in heaven with mom and Joseph and I will be there with you all soon enough. I love you Poppy, for ever & ever amen.

Poppy, words can't express how much I miss you. I am so glad you were my grandpa. You have taught me so much and I am glad Brayden got to meet you. Now you can be with nanny and daddy. I try not to be sad because I know you wouldn't want me to be, but it is hard. I am going to miss our talks and all your stories you always told me about Italy. I love you to Niagara Falls! Rest in peace pop. You will always be in my heart and never forgotten. We love you.

Poppy,
We all go forward with heavy hearts. We know you have been lonely since Nanny has passed away and you tried to always joke around and keep a smile on your face, but you were torn apart inside. I can't believe you are gone...I am fortunate that we lived close to each other and I really got to spend a lot of quality time with you over the past 8 months. When Nanny was still here, you would hang out for a little while, then you would venture off so we could have "girl talk". I enjoyed the one on one with you and really got to know a lot about your past. You were such an angel taking care of Nanny for all those years. I am so happy you got your last wish, being able to go down to the shore. Your exact words were, "Tara, I have to get there before I die" and you did. You were not only a fantastic husband, father, grandfather, but also a great grandfather. You were so full of information, it was amazing. I loved that we both had such an interest in singing. Thank you for recently teaching me about the ship that you arrived on, Nea Hellas. You were so proud telling me that story! Thank you for being such a special part of my life...I will miss you but I know you are in God's hands now and reunited with Nanny and Uncle Joe. Whenever I get upset, I will keep the phrase in the back of my head "this too shall pass" those were wise words I have heard you say so many times. I love you poppy, rest in peace. Watch over everyone and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
P.S.-I love you until niagra falls and until rubber tires and YES we will all take good care of your DNA.

Dear Poppy and Nanny, I wanted to thank you for always treating me like family. I appreciate that more than you will ever know. I miss you both and can't believe that your gone. You and nanny will always have a special place in my heart. You were both so strong and amazing. you always supported everyone and were never afraid to take care of us. You will never be forgotten. You taught me so much when I was with you. Spending time with you were some of my happiest moments. Life will not be same without you and nanny. I know your watching over us and keeping us safe. From around the age of two, I was very attached to you. I would be at home with mom and getting in trouble for something, I would sit at the door and cry for hours waiting on you. I would call out, " I'm going to tell YA-YO when he gets home!!" That was a cross between mario and daddy. I would sit there and wait until I fell asleep.I love you very much daddy and I know we will all be together again someday, and if you ever happened to be around please give me some sort of sign. Love you YA-YO!

You have installed in all of us what the true meaning of coming together as a family truly means. You stayed with us as long as you could but we knew you couldn't go on without nanny (my boo boo stockings) any longer. The two of you were the true example of what real love truly is. I will miss you very much pop. I hope you rest easy. I will forever remember taking you to wildwood with Kailey, bob, and Ulga. I'm glad that you got your wish of going down there and that you got to see it before you past. I remember that swimmer that kept going out deep in the water and you were amazed by him saying how happy you were to witness that.
