Arnold Scherer passed on April 1, 2012 in Morristown, NJ.
He was 91 years old.
Born in Hermanstad, Romania on February 11, 1921, he had served in the German Navy before coming to America in 1952. He worked as a machinist at Warner Lambert in Morris Plains, NJ for 30 years and lived in Mt. Tabor, NJ since 1964.
Arnold is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Janie C. (Davis) Scherer of Mt. Tabor, NJ.
He is also survived by his loving children George & Jody Scherer of Milford, PA and Barbara and Mark Mitchell of Oakland, NJ. His grandchildren Michael Scherer, Michelle Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell also survive him.
Funeral services will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 at 5PM on Wednesday April 4, 2012. Friends may visit at the funeral home prior to services from 3-6PM. Interment services will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations will be greatly accepted by Ashland Ambulance P.O. Box 129 Ashland, NY 12407.
