The Passage from Mother Earth To The Spirit World
"What is Life?
It is the flash of a firefly in the night.
It is the breadth of a buffalo in the winter time.
It is the little shadow which runs across the grass
And loses itself in the Sunset."

My grown children still know Arnold as "Hi Neighbor". He always made time to talk to passer bys when he was out in his yard. Just last summer he was out there tending his gardens. We will miss our special Hi Neighbor!

Dear Scherer Family,
Know that God has now taken home a faithful servant in Arnold. He is at rest with the Lord, after walking this earth with the Lord. May God give you comfort in knowing that Arnold has received his peace at last.
Sincerely,
Trinity Member

We will miss you greeting us with such energy at the door every Sunday morning.
We will miss "Uncle Arnold" playing with all the children in the Narthex.
We will miss you unloading huge boxes of food donations from your truck with such generosity.
Arnold, dear friend and brother in Christ, the blessings and love you showed will carry on through the many lives you've touched.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

A loving husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all. We will never forget that smile, sense of humor and your famous burgers at Children's Day. Rest well Arnold knowing you left many of us better people by being part of our lives.
