Mary Barbara Bias, (nee Leonard) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 4th with her loving family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 8th at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s RC Church, Denville. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name may be made to The Salvation Army, 76 N. Bergen St., Dover, NJ 07803. To send a message of condolence, please go to www.normandean.com Born in Elizabeth, Mary was one of twelve children. She worked as an LPN for over 25 years at St. Clare’s Hospital. Mary was very proud of her nursing career and absolutely loved what she did. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends and spending a few month s each year in Florida with family and friends. She was a longtime member of the St. Cecelia’s Seniors in Rockaway. Above all, she loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nan”. Predeceased by her husband Nicholas, and her siblings Francis, Joseph and Cathleen; she is survived by her children Stephen (Susan) of Denville, Michael of Twin Bridges, MT, Deacon Richard (Annemarie) of Stanhope and Andrea Bias of Denville; her grandchildren Nicole, Sierra, Mark, Sara, Nicholas, Daniel and William; her siblings Elsie, Patricia, Margaret, Ruth, Michael, Maureen, Jane, and Rose Anne; and many more loving relatives and friends.
