Lacey S. (Walker) Thiery passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012.
She was born in Teaneck and grew up in Haworth, before moving to Fort Lee and finally Denville in 1973.
Lacey enjoyed spending time with her friends and family - the time spent with her granchildren was especially precious. She was always eager to help and care for everyone. She helped as a primary care giver for her father Johnnie and sister-in-law Ellen and friends. She was a Vice-President of the Denville P.A.L. and coached and organized the softball program for many years. She also enjoyed working outside in the yard and going to Atlantic City.
Lacey is survived by her husband, Robert K., mother Frances Walker, daughters Jody Kirschenmann of Milford and Lacey Ann Thiery of Toms River, her grandchildren Robert and Ryan Kirschenmann and many loving nephews. She is also survived by her sister Sandra and husband Joseph Benardella of Norwood.
Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville NJ on Monday, January 23 from 7-9, Tuesday, January 24 from 2-4 and 7-9. Friends and Family will gather at the funeral home on Friday January 27 at 11:00 AM for burial at Denville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to Cancer Care at Saint Clare's in Denville. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
