Josephine Carmella Gallo (Crincoli) passed away at Columbus Hospital in Newark, NJ on December 23, 2011, she was 77 years old.
Born in Vallata, Italy she had moved to the United States in 1954 and lived in Glen Ridge for many years before moving to Cape May, NJ 12 years ago.
Josephine worked as a seamstress at Mountainside Hospital before opening Gallo's restaurant in Caldwell, NJ where she worked as a Chef / Owner for 16 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank Gallo in 2003, and by her brother Anthony Crincoli.
Josephine is survived by her three loving children Paula Fasulo of Denville, Joseph Gallo of Little Falls, and Angela Cameron of Paramus, NJ. She is also survived by her 6 Grandchildren.
Her siblings Gino Crincoli of Cape May, Frank Crincoli of Gillette, Louisa Luongo of Livingston, Alice Giustozzi of Mystic Island, Rocco Crincoli of Naples, Italy, and Maria Wadolowski of Union, NJ and her many Nieces & Nephews also survive her.
Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ on Tuesday December 27, from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at the funeral home and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass.
