Maria Fleuette deGuzman, 45, passed peacefully on June 2nd, 2011 at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville from complications of a heart attack.
Born in Anamosa, Iowa on August 10th 1965, and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, she moved to Denville, NJ in 2004.
She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Fleuettte, and survived by her mother, Lois Jean Fleuette, her four brothers, Joseph, Martin, Andre, and William, and her two genius children, Jeremy and Amelia deGuzman.
A Customer Care Representative and Union Shop Steward at Delta Dental of NJ, Maria was a vibrant, compassionate woman whose infectious (though sometimes excessive) enthusiasm was thoroughly enjoyed by those privileged to know her. An avid artist and writer, her unique creativity spilled into all aspects of her life. A proud and dedicated mother, loving daughter, and favorite sister to her four brothers, she will be missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ (Please light a candle in Maria's memory on website www.normandean.com) on Monday, June 6th, 2011 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM followed by a Prayer Service from 6:30 - 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Maria's children are accepting donations.
