Gary was a GREAT man. He was such an excellent teacher that if you only met him once, your life was better off. Gary would always make time for those who needed him, which was many. He had the patience to let kids smack arm hundreds of times even though that spider wasn't going any where.
He told me, "He taught me everything I know...but not everything he knew" and it is true. He showed me things from how to swing a hammer to how to love and enjoy all things in life. He always showed a geniune smile and that smile always did more for the receiver then he could have ever realized.
He was like a father to me and Gary will live on in my heart forever.

We are thankful for Gary and his kind ways. He welcomed us to the neighborhood many years ago and always offered a helping hand. His presence was comforting. He will be missed.

Gary truly lived his life as an example for us all. He exemplified the Golden Rule in everything he did. He was an intelligent, kind, and accepting man. He gave us all a piece of himself. He lightened every one of our loads and helped us all through the things we couldn’t do by ourselves. He loved us all and we will miss him dearly.

Amy,Matt and Sandy. Our Heartfelt Thoughts And Prayers Are With You At This Extremely Difficult Time In Your Lives... Stay Strong and Remember All The Great Times We All Shared With Gary and all of you "Growing Up" on Meadow and Bowers. Having lost my Dad when he was 57, It is just unimaginable to lose someone at so young an age. God Bless You All. My fondess memories of Gary was working with him when he started his contracting business. It was on of the best summers spent learning the trades from Gary. To this day when we sit in our family room, I think of Gary helping Pattie and me set the foundation, put in the roof rafters and just getting it done right. We always enjoyed our times together and will miss him dearly. Please let us know if you need anything. Love to all.. Pattie and Bill Kolbe
