Jimmy and I go way back to our pre-teen years in Newark when the Ablines and the Villanuevas were like a family. Although our life's paths separated Jimmy and me in time and distance, Jimmy and I alwsys remained family. He was a great American.
May the Good Lord comfort you and your famly in this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jim's Family. I served with the NJARNG for many years. The SGM was a dedicated professional soldier and mentor to many. I'll always remember his humor and fun loving attitude. After his retirement, he continued his involvement with the NCO Association. We shared many a cocktails and old war stories...he was one of the best. He will be missed, but never forgotten. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy.
