Mom, your love has shone like a bright light through the days of my life. As the end neared, I feared that your passing would mean that light would go out and leave an aching darkness. But now I know that you are with me always and the love we shared can never be extinguished. I will miss you, for sure, but we are never far apart. Shine that light for me to find my way home when my time comes.

Grandma,
You always just knew. You'd tell me I was beautiful when I felt ugly, that I was talented when I felt hopeless, and reminded who I was when I felt lost. I will never forget that. Your kindness, your humor, your optimism, your strength and your love have been a light, passed from mother to daughter from grandmother to granddaughter. Without them my world would be a far darker place. I am who I am because of the gifts you gave to us all.
I will count my blessings, remember that que sera, sera, and I will always be your pretty baby. I love you.

It's sometimes disheartening to see how the world bruises it's gentlest, most beautiful creatures. But life's blows never took away your kindness, your humor, your essential goodness. I was a beneficiary of that goodnes. the best things in me came from you. I'll be forever grateful for your comforting love and bereft of its loss. My solace is in knowing that a merciful God will grant you the comfort you have so long deserved. I will miss you and love you forever.

Grandma, you were always quick to smile and laugh or come back with a saucy remark. When I was younger you and I would play dress up and wear every necklace you ever owned at once. You were always kind to me and Jacob. We will both miss you very much. We love you. Jennifer and Jacob.
