Mom - there are so many stories & memories we created together. But the things I miss the most are the smallest things - calling you every am over a cup of coffee & squeezing the stuffing out of you with a hug. The simple things like "I love yous", or telling you the plans for the day, or updating you on the kids.
You were an incredible Mom & Nana. You will be sorely missed everyday.
Until we meet again
All my Love ~ Kath

When our paths would cross from time to time, Mrs. McCabe always had a wonderful, warm smile. Her face would light up with love when we talked about Jim or the rest of her family.
The mass was a beautiful tribute to her life, and I'm sure she was smiling proudly from heaven seeing her family and friends gathered together, celebrating the songs of her life.

Eleanor was always there when I needed her. We had fun together with the children. She and Ed made sure I was safe whenever Pete wasn't home toward the end of my pregnancies. Pete would drop me off with Eleanor; go photograph a wedding and/or play in the band; then pick me up on the way home. Eleanor was a wonderful friend, guidance counselor, and support. She will be sorely missed.

In more than 30 yrs. of nursing I've never met a more dedicated loving and caring nurse , than our dear sweet Eleanor. Her busy meticulous manner was sometimes mistaken for" the strict one"..... untill she broke out into song, and then you knew just how important her pts. were to her.
Love you El, will miss you Terribly.

Elanor was a great person. I was honored to have met her. My wife and I have been longtime friends of Brian, Penny and their children and family.
We have met Elanor on multiple occasions, but the thing I remember most about Elanor was her aplomb with children. One time we were visiting Brian, Penny and the kids when our son Matthew was about 1 year old. He was having a rough day and both my wife and I were emotionally drained. Elanor offered to take Matthew, and within minutes, he was as quiet as a mouse. I was not surprised that she was able to do it, but nonetheless, I was glad that she offered.
To the entire McCabe family, Elanor will always be in our thoughts and prayers
Sincerely
The Wasserman Family

Eleanor was a wonderful lady. Thoughtful and generous in every way and we shall miss her very much. She and Ed. raised a family that made them proud. She also made the best lemon marange pie, that Mike loved so much.
