Dear June and Family;
Skip could make a stonelaugh!
Oh how he playedd up the 2 seats on the Longaberger Bus trip. He was a laid back easy going "HI GUY".
You should be comforted by the many people who came to show him their respects.
May God Bless you all.

I hope that his family knows that the community is there for you if you should need anything. I send my love and my prayers.

Mr Rush touched many lives and I am honored to have known him. I know he was fond of my singing esp.. during the midnight mass on Christmas Eve. So from this day forward I pledge to sing a song for him every Christmas at midnight mass! (or if I can't stay awake at the 9:30!)

To our dear friend June and all of The Rush family:
For about 30 years or so Skip has been our friend..ever since Pete taught at Morris Knolls we knew Skip and his family would be friends of a life time. We joked with him and laughed with him on many topics. We will never forget all the Super Bowl parties, and Christmas parties we shared with him..all the teasing I (Donna) took about my endless shopping and talking to June on the phone.All great memories..As I would call him Skippy sometimes I will always hold a special place for Skip in my heart. Pete will never forget the time and effort Skip gave to the MKMB while he taught in New Jersey. We will miss you.We have lost a good friend!

When I think back to my days in the Morris Knolls marching Band, there aren't many memories of competitions that don't include Mr. Rush. He was always there cheering for us all, even after his own children finished high school. Even though I haven't seen him in years, his smiling face and roaring cheers are still with me. He will always live in my memory! Thank you Mr. Rush! God Bless!

Hey look, It's Rodney!
As kids in Band we couldn't realize the sacrifice our band parent's made for us.
As a now adult and parent myself, I realize the extraordinary effort made by all of them and especially Skip. You worked hard to help us and most of all you made it fun!
I can still hear Mr. Weber yelling from the stand.."Number One!!!"
You'll always be our Number One!!
