Loved you Uncle Roy...you always said you would get me to the church on time and did just that on May 30th, 1982. You were the one that chased down the horse and carriage at a parade you and Evelyn attended so I had my perfect ride on my wedding day. You always were and always will be a part of my life and special memories! You will be missed!

Sherry & Al: We are so sorry about your Dad's passing, but are really glad we were able to meet him at the b-day party, and that you were with him in his final hours. Sherry was an incredibly wonderful, supportive daughter to Roy, especially towards the end, we're sure he appreciated all your visits and took comfort that he had such a strong, loving daughter that he could trust to take care of him. Our thoughts are with your entire family.

Roy is my oldest and best friend Tammy's father. We grew up together and our parents were also very good friends ~ so we've basically always been family. That's alot of years at this point! The majority of my most significant developmental age milestones happened with the Wise's and fortunately as we grew older, we all transitioned quite naturally into peer based roles. It has been a remarkable journey ~ having many many good times along the way ~ from house on Snyder Avenue....to The Big House across Rt. 10 in Denville. Roy was a gracioius, generous host and we all enjoyed countless memorable parties with the best life had to offer in abundance ~ and Roy at the helm. He took great pride in catering to us all with amazing food, drink, stellar music and atmosphere. His home was always gorgeous, tasteful decorated ~ inside and out. The beauty of the landscaping never ceased to amaze me. The trees alone...you could never believe how beautiful these trees were. He had this beyond cool pool that was 5 ft. deep the whole way across and of course music piped in surrounding the whole area, with twinkle lights sparkling at night ~ and we'd DANCE to the old classics or whatever we wanted. It was always whatever we wanted. He'd always be saying what can I get you? He'd feed and drink you to royal proportions and laughter was plentiful. His energy level was incomprehensible and admirable. His family are some of the finest people I have ever met, especially Tammy. There never has been a more loving compassinate daughter than Tammy in my eyes. Sherry is lovely as well. I hope Roy finds peace and comfort on the other side and his devoted, unwavering family and friends find peace and comfot on this side knowing that chances are...he is probably having a ball. God Bless everyone.

Dear Sherry, Tammy, & the first Mrs. Wise I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing I know he has been sick quite some time but I can remember back in the Grand Union days he would come in and shop and have to ask me if the bounty was peach in color!!! May he rest in peace and you all treasure your memories of happy time together forever.
