Mrs. Hill was born in Trenton, NJ, was a resident of East Stroudsburg, Pa and the last few years in Budd Lake, NJ. She was a legal secretary for Stephen S. Weinstein Esq. in Morristown for 30 years retiring 5 years ago. Mrs. Hill was predeceased by her husband Richard J. “Dick” Hill Sr. in 2007. She is survived by her son John Small and his wife Peggy of Charlotte, NC, her daughter, Debbie Goffredo of Denville, NJ, her step children, Richard Hill of Flemington, NJ, Christopher Hill of Sioux Falls, SD, Eugene Hill and his wife Deborah of Stockton, NJ, and Steven Hill and his wife Ronna of Milford, NJ, her 12 grandchildren, her 2 brothers, James Small of Parsippany, and Pat Bradley and his wife Kim of Budd Lake, NJ, her sister Jean Bradley of Teaneck, NJ and beloved friend Mary Billington of Florida. Joy’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Joy on web site), on Tuesday September 29th at 9am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary’s Church, Denville, NJ, entombment committal services at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday September 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
