Joy,
May you rest in peace. What a sweet lady you always were. Although I saw very little of you after your retirement, I will miss your beautiful smile and sweet nature. My prayers are with your family and all your wonderful grandchildren you always told me about.

't wait until the day we meet again!!! Our sleepovers were fabulous too :) and I will never forget your delicious lemon chicken or the lunches at the Macaroni Grill!! And the Dansbury Depot with Poppop!! I bet you guys are dancing alot up there!!! I remember when you and Poppop would come over the day after Thanksgiving to help us put up our Christmas tree and waking up to Frank Sinatra blasting in the living room and you and Poppop dancing in the morning :) Thanks for loving me always!!!

Mom - I now know that I can handle anything life has to bring. I loved every last day I got to spend with you and will remember every moment, the good and the bad. I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me since the day I was born and was thankful I could be there for you when you needed me most. I will miss you every day until I see you again...but like you, I will be strong in the mean time. Enjoy your dance with Richard, your laugh with Aunt Karen and your sing-along with Nana. I'll take care of things down here, you take care of things up there...and one day, we'll take care of things together again. I love you!

Joy,
I know exactly where you are and whom you are with! You were an amazing lady, and I am so lucky to have not only known you, but to have loved you and been loved by you. You loved and touched so many lucky people. You made each and every one of us feel like we were the most special person in the world. Thanks for being a wonderful listener. Your quiet confidence and strength are among the things I admired in you as much as your giving spirit. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful memories with me and my children, and for taking such wonderful care of Dad. He was an incredibly lucky man who found a diamond in the rough! God bless you. I will miss you so very much.

Dear Nana,
I will miss you soooo much and I love you with all my heart. My best memory of you and me is when I came over your house and we watched Nancy Drew, I got scared because of the man with the big feet upstairs. I love you and I will never forget about you !!!!! I love you,

My Dearest Nana,
I can hear your voice, I can see your smile, I can feel the touch of your hand, I will always keep you in my heart. You are the most amazing example of what I want to be. Tell dad we love him and let him know we knew he was a great salesman. Even dad sold Jesus on bringing you home. Until we meet again...all my love forever! R

Our Dearest Joy,
We can honestly say, during the quarter century we have known you, you never said in our company a bad thing about anyone. Nor did anyone speak unkindly of you. This is a tribute to your character. Your smile, vibrancy, and love for your friends sustained us all.
But it is your wonderful family which acknowledges the perfect person you are.

Aunt Joy, you’ll be so sorely missed but it’s consoling to know that you’re in Heaven now with your family members who’ve been waiting for you. Please give Richard and my mom a big hug from us. The world has lost one of the classiest women on earth but I’ve no doubt you’ll compete for the same title in Heaven. We love you.
