Michael A. Morosca, age 43, of Rockaway Twp., passed away Thursday, September 24, at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was employed by Panasonic and was known as a Disney and NY Mets fan, and an avid softball player. He was a member of St. Cecelia's Roman Catholic Church in Rockaway.
He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia. Surviving him are his wife of 17 years, Gina (Laratta) Morosca, daughters Nicole and Brooke, father and step-mother, Vic and Beverly Morosca, siblings, Lori and husband Frank Russo, Robert and wife Adrienne, Stephanie, Bobby and wife Tammy Collins, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Monday, September 28 at 9:00 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville, for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Rockaway. Cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 pm Sunday. Michael continued his legacy by giving the gift of life through organ donation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for his daughter's trust funds.
