To the Morosca family my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. I cannot say enough kind words about Mike, I worked with him many years ago at Panasonic. I would talk to him a couple of times a year and he would always be helpful to me regardless of the time that passed between us. I would always enjoy seeing him and the guys in the lab and laugh about the things that went on. His personality and get the job done work ethic was always refreshing. He will be missed by many. He will live on in the hearts of his girls. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gina, Nicole and Brooke,
Mike was so very well received by everyone who knew him. He was such a wonderful person, and his kind personality and smile will stay with us all forever.
I’ll always remember our days of playing co-ed softball, and watching the men’s teams play in Garfield. It seems like we played a million games over the years. It was so much fun, and the best part was hanging out after the games with such a close group of friends and family.
We will keep you all in our thoughts.

Mike truly was one of a kind. I always thought of him as a cousin when our parents were friends. Once he became my stepbrother, I thought of him as a brother instantaneously. He made a blended family appear seemless! I treasure the way that Mike always respected dad, stood by him through thick and thin, and was there in an instant whenever dad needed him. At family affairs, Mike was always the one that threw the ball around with the kids, made Donald Duck noises that my son loved, and put together whatever toys needed to be put together(even if the directions weren't so direct). He loved his family more than anything, and always was a great provider. I truly thought of him as a brother and envied the fact that no matter how tired he was, he was always willing to give a little more effort. With that being said, although his body was called to above, he is still giving by donating his organs and allowing others to carry on with their lives. Nikki, Brooke, and G, everyone knows the treasure that we had. Just remember to stay strong, and look up at those stars at night because he will certainly be looking down taking care of us!
Love,
Stephanie, Darrell, and Donovan

To Gina, his daughters and the rest of the family - know that you are in my prayers and the prayers of my church. I can't imagine the pain you all must be experiencing. May you look to Jesus for His comfort at this time, may He surround you with love and compassion, may He provide for all your needs, and may He draw you closer to Himself and be most real to you now more than ever.
My heart is grieved over Mike's sudden death and I'm certain that he will be missed very much. I only really knew him as "Lori's older brother" but he's still someone who I grew up with and I'm sad that his life ended so suddenly. May Mike's sudden death be used by God as a reminder to us all that we never know when our last day might be and to make the most of each day by living in a way that is pleasing to our Lord. May God bless you and keep you all. With much love, Donna Samko

Mike was the husband and daddy all husbands and daddies should take a note from. He worked a full time job which included alot of travel. He still found time to food shop at night, pick the kids up from practices take Jedi and Bella to the vet and love his family through it all. He and Gina came to my house just 2 weeks ago to help me with a garage sale-I didn't ask them too-they just did! He was a giver!!! After practice sometimes, he would pick Brookie up at my house and she would tell him "Dad wait there until I finish my taco"...and he did! I distinctly remember our cheer trip to Orlando and the POPEYE ride...he made fun of me for somehow not getting my head wet even though he got soaked just two seat over!!It was FREEZING outside and we all begged our kids to not drag us on again, but Brooke asked Daddy with her big brown eyes and Mike complied. The photos are great because although he was wet and freezing, he had a smile on his face... Mike, We will miss you and we promise to do what we can to care for the 3 precious Gems you left behind... ~ The Schlachter Family
