Leila E. Travers (Archilla), passed away at Van Dyk Park Place in Hawthorne, NJ on August 27, 2009.
She was 87 years old.
Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she had moved to the US in 1931 and lived in Park Ridge before moving to Wayne for 8 years, and then to Hawthorne, NJ 2 years ago.
Leila is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, John F. Travers of Hawthorne, NJ.
She is also survived by her loving Daughters Elise Baranowski of Central Valley, NY, Emily Buhler of Denville, and Karen Travers of Caldwell, NJ. Her five grandchildren and three brothers also survive her.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Church in Denville on Tuesday September 1, at 10AM. Entombment services will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
