You'll Be in My Heart( Tarzan Theme)
Come stop your crying,
It will be all right
Just take my hand, hold it tight
I will protect you from all around you
I will be here, don't you cry
For one so small, you seem so strong
My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm
This bond between us, can't be broken
I will be here, don't you cry
Cause you'll be in my heart
yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
You'll be in my hear
No matter what they say
You'll be here in my heart always
Why can't they understand, the way we feel
They just don't trust , what they can't explain
I know we're different but, deep inside us
were not that different at all
And you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
Don't listen to them
cause what do they know
we need each other, to have , to hold
They'll see in time I know
When destiny calls you
you must be strong
I may not be with you
But you've got to hold on
They'll see in time, I know
we'll show them together
Cause you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this dayon,
Now and forever more
Oh, you'll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You'll be in my heart,
I'll be here always, always
I'll be with you
I'll be there for you always
always and always
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
I'll be there always !!!!!!!!

Mr. Ford hired me as a second grade teacher at Lake Hiawatha
when I graduated from Newark State in 1961. 10 of the best years of my life were at
Hiawatha. I will always cherish those memories of Mr. Ford's wisdom, guidance, and sense of humor. I recently retired after a career of 45
years in the classroom. During
that time, I kept looking for another Joe Ford along the way. He spoiled it for those
principals who followed, but
I'm so proud to say Mr. Ford influenced my life in so many ways. When I retired, Mr. Ford sent a note saying "every
principal should have a teacher like Barb S." I wish
everyone had a Joe Ford.

Joe was a wonderful man. Although many years have past since we met yearly for Thanksgiving, I still have fond memories of Joe and all the Fords. Joe had a way of making people feel special. I remember that about him. I think the first time I ever watched golf was with Joe. I'll carry these memories with me thanks to him. Kevin

To my Pops,
It was a gift from God to have been able to spend the last few hours with you. Not many people are given that privilage. God also gave me the greatest gift when I entered this world. He gave me you as my Dad. I will take good care of Grammie and your babies as I promised. I will miss you always. My heart is broken, but with time I know it will heal.
As I told you before, I love you with all my heart.

With Uncle Joe passing I now have no living uncles. As I reflect upon this I realize I am very blessed that all my uncles have left a loving and positive impression on me that will stay with me and guide me throughout my lifetime. Uncle Joe's enthusiasm for life was contagious. Love and prayers to the whole family and to everyone whose life was blessed from knowing Uncle Joe. Love Maureen, David and family.

Joe was a true friend and mentor throughout our years together at United Way - and even after when I would get the phone call around the holidays from him just saying he was checking in.
I know he loved his family - especially his grandchildren. To this day I tell people about the plaque he had in his office - "If I knew how great grandchildren were going to be, I would have had them first".
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I love you my Pop’s. How can I ever try to sum up what it meant having you as my Dad. You were my mentor, my role model, my soft spot to land. You always knew when I was upset and shared with me in my many joys. I remember when being elected Senior Class President in HS you left a gorgeous bouquet of flowers on my pillow with a card that read, “Congratulations Madam President.” I remember going to your school were you were principal and feeling like a princess! I remember the coloring books and crayons your brought home when we were sick, the bedtime stories your told. Did you really fall into that fire pit or stick you head through the car window?? You marveled at my accomplishments, my ability to sing, my love of the theater and my sense of humor but to that I say, where do you think I got that from? Thanks for letting me hold a place of honor in one of the families most often told stories of, “You always said water was good for us.” Thank you for sharing with me your love of golf. As I promised you that last day, I will play again! I too love the brown bag trick as well as the cut off thumb and how did the quarter come from behind that ear? All my colleagues at work will forever know who Susie Fifinyack is! You were the best grandfather, to say adoring just does not seem strong enough. You always asked “How are my babies?” You loved them all so much. You had that special way of striking an individual bond and relationship with each of your grandchildren. Actually, you seemed to have that special way with everyone! As your youngest grandson, Shane Joseph will always carry a special spot in his heart for his Pop’s – It meant so much to him that you came to his soccer and football games even when it became very hard for you. You were his hero! He promised he will always strive to make his Poppie proud, even if you were a Giants Fan! I have several voice mail messages, saved forever, from Elli Manning, the Jet’s Training Camp, The Giants Fan Club and Chad Pennington! My favorite ones are the ones when you tell me you loved me! I will save those for days I need to hear it most! I am proud to be your daughter and so blessed to have you as my Dad. I know you worried, “who will take care of my babies? “ Dad you will! You taught us well and we know you are looking out for us and have front row seats to the rest of our lives. Be at rest and enjoy those rounds of golf that you missed out on these past few years! Love always and forever, Your Kateria!

Pops,
Ever since I was little you always told me that I would surprise everyone. I promise I will make you proud. You always told me that no one loved me more than my girlfriend (Grammie), and I want you to know i will always be there for her. I'll miss all your songs, all your jokes, and i will never stop trying to trick people with the paper bag trick you taught me so well. I can tell you this now, but truthfully I never answered your phone calls because I loved to hear the incredibly creative messages you would leave, you were either the president, an ESPN announcer, or someone famous. But i would always call you back right after i got to hear them.
May you have eternal serenity in heaven, and keep on singing.
Love,
Ichabod, Jesus, any of my siblings names, bust most of all your grandson Nate

I was only able to know Joe for 24 years. I will of course remember him forever. He welcomed me into his family and I know I am a better man because of it. I have the family to prove it. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. He let me beat him in golf once, after that, he asked for strokes, but he never needed them. I'm glad we never played for money.
Peace,buddy.

I remember Joe growing up in the Totowa section of Paterson. He spent time in a confectionary store near St, Mary's school where I worked behind the counter. Later, I worked in Parsippany where Joe was a principal. And even later, I heard of him when my daugther, Kelly Ann, married married Ken Kimmel. His daughter also had married Ken's brother.
I loved to hear him talk about his game of Golf nd how it was the center piece of his waking world.
He made the world he lived in better for his presence and left good ,warm memories for those he knew.

I didn't really know Mr. Ford directly. However, I felt as if I did through his loving daughter, Mary. She always spoke about him with a smile on her face and a glint in her eye. I heard about his many passions and admired him for all his enthusiasm for life and for all the love, warmth, and kindness he showed to his family and friends. I heard many times about his love for his "babies"...all of his grandchildren. He was truly an inspiration and the definition of the words father, friend, mentor, and role model.
