Charles J. Holl, 85, passed away on Friday March 13, 2009 at his home in Randolph, NJ.
Mr. Holl was born in Jersey City, was a resident of West Orange and a longtime resident of Denville before moving to Randolph several years ago. He was a Business Major and graduate of Seton Hall University. He served in the United Sates Navy during WW II. He was employed for many years as Car salesmen at Konner Chevrolet in Caldwell, NJ, retiring 18 years ago. Charles was a member of the St. Mary's Church, an Altar Accolade a member of the Knights of Columbus Our Lady of the Lakes Council 3359, and a member of Murray's Mob.
Charles's is survived by his wife of 60 years Joan, his daughter, Mary Holl Mullen and her husband Daniel of S. Park Twp., PA and his son Kevin Charles Holl and his wife Kathleen of Old Bridge, NJ and his five grandchildren, Daniel, David, James, Christine, and Luke.
Charles's funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Charles on web site), on Wednesday at 9:00am for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary's Church, Denville, NJ. Committal and interments service at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
