Anthony Lucio Polichemi passed away at his home in Rockaway Twp., NJ on March 3, 2009.
He was 79 years old.
Born in Jersey City he had lived in Parsippany before moving to Rockaway Twp., NJ 9 years ago.
Anthony received his Bachelor's degree from Montclair State University, and then attended Rutgers University.
He was a self employed home remodeler and also worked teaching industrial arts in East Orange and Jersey City schools.
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Leona Faye (Marvulli) of Rockaway Twp., and his loving children Janet (& Bob) Ball, Angela (& Michael) Bardt, both of Rockaway Twp., and Anthony (& Debbie) Polichemi of Syracuse, NY. His grandchildren Jessica & Rob Ball, and Anthony & Alexis Polichemi and his siblings Hugo Polichemi of Syracuse, NY, Joseph Polichemi of FL, Mary Locandro of Barnegat, NJ and Lydia Schlauch of Wynnewood, PA also survive him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 21, 2009 at 11AM at the Green Pond Chapel in Rockaway Twp., NJ.
