Ronald James Oakley, 48, passed away on Saturday February 14, 2009 at the University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Ronald was born in Paterson was a resident of Montville, Denville, North Arlington and Hopatcong, NJ. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Eisenhower as an Electricians Mate and was in charge of Rescue and Assistance Detail. He was currently employed as a High Voltage Electrical Technician since 1984 for PSE & G Co. in Secaucus, NJ. He was an avid Giant, Yankee, and Aerosmith fan. Ronald is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth and Alexandra Oakley of Denville, his parents, Henry J. and Joyce M. Oakley of Hopatcong, his two sisters, Brenda Arci and her husband Ed of Stanhope, Deborah Grom and her husband Tim, his brother Floyd Oakley and his wife Michele, his companion MaryAnn Grom of Lyndhurst, and his former wife Karin McCann of Denville. Ronald's funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Wednesday Feb. 18th at 8:30am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Pius X Church, Montville, NJ.
