Obituary of Karen Loraine DeAngelo

Karen Loraine DeAngelo (Small) passed away on January 27, 2009, at St. Mary's Life Care Center in Orange, NJ. She was 64 years old. Born in Trenton, NJ she had lived in Newark and Philadelphia before moving to the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ in 1969. Karen received her Associates degree from County College of Morris, and worked as a bookkeeper for CBS Outdoor Signs in Fairfield, NJ for 7 years. She was an avid swing dancer and a devoted nana to her grandchildren. Karen is survived by her husband of 43 years, Carmen P. DeAngelo of Denville, NJ, and her children Linda (& Glen) Bradish of Sparta, NJ, and Michael (& Penelope) DeAngelo of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ashley, Kristen, and Chloe. Her sisters Joy Hill of Budd Lake, and Jean Bradley of Teaneck, and her brothers James Small of Parsippany, NJ and Pat Bradley of CA and her sister in-law Susan Griffin of Monroe Twp., NJ also survive her. Funeral services will begin at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ, on January 31, at 9AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Denville at 10AM. Friends may visit on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Please light a candle in her memory at www.normandean.com. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
