Mommy, Ashley is graduating eighth grade tonight. It's gone by so fast. I know you would be so proud of her right now, we are very proud of her! She's really trying to find her way right now. We miss you and love you very much. Please work yourfor magic amd send sunshine for today we need to have it , the graduation is outdoors and we need beautiful weather. Wonderful memories of dinner shows at Neils New Yorker, dinners at Llewellyn Farms, but mostly the dinners at our homes and the games with the kids throughout the years and watching the kids grow. I am at a loss for words and my heart is aching for the loss of my dear friend. We met the day she, Carmen & infant Linda, moved in across the street. We became instant friends and confidants and had our sons a few months apart. Many happy times were spent together.
Karen will remain in my heart and memories always, as will the family.

When I was a little girl, I remember Aunt Karen was the kindest, sweetest woman. I loved going to visit her & she always kept fun toys under her armchair for me. When I would get sick at school, she would pick me up and take care of me until my mom was done at work. I was to happy to reconnect with Carmen & Karen again a few years ago, and I am so happy they were able to attend my wedding. She was so full of life & love, and she will be missed.
