I only knew you as a child living next door to you and your family in the 70's in Morris Plains, NJ. Although we moved to CA and more recently to AZ we remained in contact with your parents for over 30 years. We cannot question God's plan for us. Your presence in His Kingdom will only add to the beauty of Heaven. You are an angel for your parents and brother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, Dee xoxo

Well Phil, you got the last word this time, though I wish it could have been different. The time apart has never altered the time we shared. You are a Bright Brass Lass & I'm proud to have known you. The travels, the secrets, the carousing are times I hold dear to my twisted heart & soul. Thanks for visiting me the other night, it was good to settle things. Blessed Be My Friend.. Enjoy the other side till we meet again. G~

Phyllis,
I thought I would reflect a little. These past two weeks have been hard without you. I can only say that the outpour of love from people whose live's you touched is amazing. You are a cross country, world wide Goddess that was truly loved and admired. I stand proud in the line that you considered a friend. I will never forget our adventures and I will never forget the last couple of months in and out of the hospital. All of our talks are embedded in my heart. I think I will miss the most when I picked up the phone and heard--Helllllo Mommmmmma. I will love you forever.

I just heard the news of her passing, and still can't believe it.
Although we hadn't spoken in a while, when we did, nothing was mentioned of this horrible event taking place inside of her. What I am happy for is the chance to know her and be her friend, and for that I am grateful.

To my Aunt "P",
So many friends, so many loved ones. So many memories which you had with your own peers and companions. And here I am, the eighteen year old son of one of your closest friends, speechless.
So what were you to me? Why did I cherish you more deeply than aunts of my own blood? Why did I, since what, ten years old, always bug and bother my mom to let me talk to you when you were on the phone?
Cause despite blood, despite heritage, despite genetic information - you were my aunt. That crazy aunt who inspired me and helped me grow.
That same aunt who told me every single time we spoke how special I was because of my inherent intelligence.
That same aunt that vexxed and tormented my parents by introducing me to the glories of Anime and D&D.
That same aunt who, with that wonderful laugh, helped me through my first relationship, my first (of many) parental spat, my first breakup.
That same aunt who, as I stood on the precipice of the unfamiliar, paid the admittance fee, held my hand, and laughed as we both flew off into infinity.
And thats where you are now, Aunt Phyllis. Infinity.
So I'll laugh as you laughed, live as you lived, love as you loved. But you'd better wait up for me. We've got a lot of Infinity to explore.
I love you, Aunt P.
I miss you.

What can you possibly put into writing about someone that held your meaning of a friendship? It's unexplainable, unnamable, and no immense poetic gesture could portray such love I felt for her. My friend, my sister in soul, "P". By chance and fate we bonded in a peculiar way, past events were shared and future goals were set with each other.
"P"s casement is no longer among those who can touch her, but she still touches us day to day for her impression she made on all is imperishable, Her laugh has been embedded into my heart and mind, her smile so vibrant and unyielding, and her soul so unreserved.
I will miss you so much!!!

Down, into the darkness
Gently they go, the beautiful, the tender, the kind;
Quietly they go, the intelligent, the witty, the brave.
