I just learned of John's death, and am so sorry. We had lost touch in the last few years, but I remember him as a fun, vibrant & caring man.

I am so sorry to hear of you dads passiing we were just talking about him at our luncheon the other day naming everyone from Mt lakes that moved to Franciscan Oaks. What a shock to read a day later of his death. Always remembered him at the front desk at St Clare's greeting you with a smile. My deepest sympathy to all the Croswell family

I always remember him (John Crowsell) being so happy, so calm and so peaceful. He was one of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met.
I related to him in part for his personality, but also for his experiences in Duluth Minnesota. He had an excellent childhood and a fondness for nature.
John always was a friend and a supporter. I will miss him dearly.

My daughter, Lexi, asked if John would still play Soduku in heaven. I told her that he would and not only that he would but that she might get some help. She was so excited that her teacher would be looking over her helping to make her smart.

We have known John for 12 years. The last 11 years we spent a week with him at Cuttyhunk which he so graciously shared his love of the island. John shared his life with my sister Judith which gave them both much happiness. I will remember his kindness and bright smile and his giving personality. We send our love, peace and light to all who were touched by him.

To my sister Judith and all of the Croswell family, John C. gave me and Jon many happy memories. I will remember his joy in solving problems whether it be a crossword puzzle, Suduko or fixing golf carts. He introduced us to Cuttyhunk for which I will be forever grateful.
