I loved the way Mom Mom would greet Brittany and me in the morning with "You two are finally up?" Folding laundry, watching soap operas, and getting hugs with little pats on the butt will all be greatly missed. Thank you for making me feel like I was a part of the family. You were the best Mom Mom. Love you always.

Mom-Mom, I don’t even know where to begin. Over the last 15 years you and I have formed a great bond. As I have no grandma’s left of my own you and nanny have accepted me as a granddaughter and I thank you for that. From day one you have always welcomed me when others did not; you loved me, for who I am, you have always included your grandchildren’s significant others, as if we have always been family. I will remember our obsession with our spoon collections, how you always asked me how my parents are, all the flip flops you added it to my collection. I will miss the trips to the Christmas tree store, long talks, your smile and laughter, shopping for a deal with coupons, dollar stores, the OBX trip, and most of all our love for ice cream.
Because of you Glenn loves to have his back scratched and he always says I do not do it like you. I am the oldest grandchild on my side of the family and I know what it is like to lose my grandmother so don’t you worry I will be here for Glenn every step of the way. You have watched us grow and become the adults we are today encouraging us to make the right decisions. The holidays will not be the same without you. Thank you for everything I will love and miss you forever!! Megan

Our condolences to Carl and Jean and the family of Doris. Our connection goes back to our Swedish ancestors... Elna and my mother Alice were cousins as their mothers were sisters in Sweden. And my family moved to Teaneck on the same street as the Anderson's just before
Doris and Weldy married so we enjoyed many sunday picnics in the Anderson's backyard. Doris gave me Audrey's christening dress for my doll and I still have the dress and I remember finding baby Audrey fascinating to watch. Our Swedish connection continues through genealogy and our time spent with Carl and Jean and our new Swedish cousins. I know she really enjoyed her visits to SC and making krupkaker with Carl.

Mom-Mom,
I dont know where to start, i will miss you so much. Thank you for everything you have done for me and our whole family. You are truly the best grandma anyone could ever ask for.
I remember a lot of fond memories we have shared together from long walks to the park, spending days at VASA park with Grandma Anderson in the pool and playgrounds, taking us to our sports events, making cropkorker (if thats the way you spell it), and even the day you decided to walk to the high school to pick me up when I was in my junior year. However, most of all the best memories are the ones with you and Mikey and Elayna.
We will all love you and will miss you.
Keep an eye on us (especially little Mikey)
Love you,
Mikey

Mom Mom - When I met you nine years ago, I realized then how special you were to Mikey. When you stayed with me in the hospital when I had Elayna, I realized how special you were to me. You were one of first people that invited and welcomed me in and I thank you for that. You were a fantastic great-grandmother and Mikey and Elayna are lucky to have known and built a relationship with you. They have such a tremendous faith and know that you are in heaven watching down on them. I know you are finally where we all hope to go one day and when that day comes I will be filled with joy to see you once again. Much love.

Mom-mom,
Being so far away, it doesn't really feel like you're gone. I guess coming down for Christmas and not having my face devoured by your kisses will set in reality. You will live on in my premature love for puzzles and crosswords, and all of our love handles caused by a nightly cup (or 2) of ice cream. I love you so much and couldn't have asked for a better grandmother and friend growing up. I will never forget all the summers spent watching soap operas and having the clothes off my backed washed and ironed. Thank you for giving me such a great family, and I know you have forgiven me for not being there. I miss you already.
Love,
Brittany

Mom - words alone cannot thank you enough for giving me life. You were a very special person to not only your children, but your grandchildren, great-grandchildren and to your never ending extended family and friends. Not having you at home now will be very difficult for the four of us, including Gucci off course, but we know you gave it all you had. The last few years have been challenging, but I know in my heart that everything was that could have been done for you was and because of that we were able tpo enjoy you for a bit long. I hope you passed along those kisses I gave you to those other special people of mine who were already heaven waiting to welcome you home. If the after life truly is what we expect it to be, then you are having a big bowl of ice cream right now!
