Lorna Hayes, 70, died Monday August 25, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover, NJ.
Lorna was born in DePere, WI, she was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a class secretary in high school. She was a piano and flute player in the school band and a cheer leader. She attended St. Elizabeth's College in Convent Station, NJ. Lorna was a member and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ.
Lorna was predeceased by her daughter Dianne Hayes-Sosa, her sister Charlene and her brother Richard Hermsen.
She is survived by her husband Harry, her two sons, Richard and James, her son-in-law Miguel Sosa, her six grandchildren, Rebecca Sosa, Katherine, Christopher, Meagan, Josephine, and Michael Hayes, her brother Kenneth Hermsen.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ wwwnormandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Lorna on web site) on August 28th Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9pm, and may attend Lorna's Mass of Christian Burial on August 29th at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church Denville, NJ, interment committal service at Denville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
