A resident of Long Valley, NJ, Greg was a scholar, teacher, and world traveler. The Rutgers College graduate (BA, MA) was an expert on the life and works of Thomas Edison and co-author of Thomas A. Edison and Modern America. Following seven years on the Research Faculty of The Papers of Thomas A. Edison at Rutgers University, he traveled throughout Asia, working for ten years as an Instructor then Director at International Education Services, Tokyo, Japan. Upon his return to NJ, Gregory fulfilled his love of teaching as a substitute teacher at Long Valley Middle School. Greg is the beloved son of Thomas and Eileen Jankunis and dear brother of Alayna and Bethany Jankunis. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday August 29th from 4-6pm with services at 6pm at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Gregory on website).
