Best memory of Greg: Him laughing historically while watching re-runs of Seinfeld in the Poconos. We also had a blast in Asia -- especially trying to understand the Japanese GPS. It's miracle we found our way to the coast! Certainly hard to come to terms with his death. Sending healing thoughts to all family and friends. AG

Dearest Greg, Uncle Joe and I will forever remember you in our hearts. The time we spent with you went by to quickly and each day a new memory comes to mind. We watched you grow with our children playing side by side at Nana and Pops and recall all the wonderful celebrations we shared together. Who can forget our adventure to Iowa for Tonya and Joe’s wedding, you and Nana made quite the roommates. We knew then that you were not only kind and loving, but also had a great sense of humor. You have made your family proud and will be greatly missed. Be at peace. Love, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Joe

I will forever remember Greg in his trenchcoat and briefcase carrying the Wall Street Journal when he was a young kid. You have left us way to soon Greg and we will all miss the joy you brought to all of our lives. I know you are with your Grandpa, probably have a tailored suit by now, looking down on us smiling. I am thankful you are no longer in pain.

I became friends with Greg while at Rutgers College. I always appreciated his intelligence and quick wit. When I wanted to see the Counting Crows in concert he was the only one who would go with me:) I remember how much fun we had watching the show and making snarky comments! He will be terribly missed, and my deepest condolences go out to his family.

I graduated with Greg from WMC. Although I had not seen him since HS the first picture that came to my mind when I saw his name this morning was his kind smiling face. That never left me after all of these years. My deepest sympathy for your loss. You are all in my prayers.

I met Greg some 15 or so years ago through my partner Terry. He visited us in East Hampton dozens of times and I will never forget how much he enjoyed being out there--as long as it wasn't too hot or too cold! In that case, we both enjoyed complaining about the temperature! We shared the same likes and dislikes and we laughed constantly. It felt good just to be around him. I shall miss that, always.

Our Dear Gregory we were so lucky to have you as a very
important and loved member of our family. We have so many
wonderful memories of you it would be impossible to list them all. However, we wll
never forget those phone calls
from you, "I'm going to the city and passing Riverdale, do
you want to eat at Bluebay?"
Bluebay will never be the same
without you. Also, while living in Japan you kept us up to date on what was going on in Riverdale by e-mailing us articles about Riverdale from the "New York Times." Rest in Peace Dear Gregory. You will be greatly missed and always in our Memories
Forever.
Love,
Aunt Felice & Uncle Gene

How fortunate we are to have had Greg as relative, mentor and friend.
The memory and efficacy of his steadfast attention to the slightest concerns of others and his unselfish dedication of the well developed talents with which he was so generously gifted, to the cognitive needs of a generation of students indebted to him for their own love of learning, will vastly outlive his all too brief forty years.
Our world would be a darker place without the light he magnanimously shared.
May all the good that Greg did, and the suffering he endured, bring him, and us all, the joys of the kingdom and the fullness of its life.

Greg was my closest cousin in age. We never talked a lot, since we were both quiet people but when he did talk, he was the funniest guy you ever met ! I missed Greg at family events when he went to Japan and was lucky that his return came in time to see him at my wedding. I will miss him greatly.

I remember being around 6 years old and Greg and I getting into battles over vocabulary words. We would be playing with toys and he would insist that we compare definitions of random words as well as their spelling. A born scholar.
