Obituary of Robert J. Newcomer

Robert J. Newcomer passed away at the Wayne view Care Center in Wayne, NJ on January 25, 2005. He was 51 years old. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, he had lived in Denville, NJ for 6 years prior to moving to Hewitt, NJ 2 years ago. He had become a Truck driver after getting his license at the early age of 18, and worked for various trucking companies in New York his entire life. Mr. Newcomer was an avid NY Giants fan. He is survived by his second wife of 9 years, Susan (nee Qualls) of Hewitt, NJ. His daughters Catherine (& Jason) Sampson of New Milford, CT, and Christine Newcomer-Horan of Croton on the Hudson, NY also survive him. His siblings Ruth Ann Newcomer of Boonton, Roy F. Newcomer Jr. of Yonkers, NY, and Linda Mazzella of Denville, NJ also survive him. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 29, at 10:30AM, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
