Susan,
My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. As you've said, although we're not close and don't associate on a regular basis, I know this pain. What gets me by is remembering the time spent and not dwelling on the time lost. In our memories, the people we've lost live forever.
There are no restrictions now, no limitations for him and it seems he's left you in the healing hands of a loving family. Use them, depend on them...together you can heal each other.
It never seems like it will but it does get better one day at a time.
