Dear daddy, it’s May 7, two weeks ago we told you that mom was waiting for you. I know you were ready, and how tired you were of life but I miss you. I miss the times I used to see you everyday, of making you laugh when you were depressed. But the light in your eyes when your daughters called or seeing you great grandchildren. I have such great memories and will keep them all close to my heart. I miss your smile and You saying Hi dolly! Please give mom a kiss for I miss her so also. I love you both and I’ll see you again❤️

Dad, it has been just a little over a week since we lost you and I miss you more than ever. You and Mom have taught us all what it means to be a family. It isn't about money or valuables, it is about love and sticking together. I hope that we all make you proud. I miss going to 9:30 mass at St Catherine's every Sunday with you. I wish we were sitting at your table doing a puzzle. I loved when Pam, you and I were all there together working on one. I will miss you everyday just as I miss Mom. I know the 2 of you are finally back together with your son, brothers, sisters and parents. I will forever miss your voice and you saying "Hi Dolly"! Love you!

Hank was a a kind caring friend and Elm Street neighbor for 50+ years. He was my late husband Chuck's close friend sharing countless "driveway" conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I'll always remember him as the Poppy with two modes: 1) the No Nonsense Poppy and 2) the Tease With a BIG BIG Heart Poppy. A family man through and through. And I'll forever keep in my heart the image of my classy grandfather wearing his 3 piece suits complete with pocket watch, wool overcoats and feathered fedora and his Lincoln Town Cars. And likewise I keep the sound of his familiar and unique voice always in the ear of my mind ready to hear him call me 'son' or one of his daughters 'dolly' or how it sounded when he called Marion's name.
Poppy on our behalf, please give our Meme a big kiss, and give a big hug to your little boy, the uncle we never knew, and give our gratitude and love to the mother you hardly knew and the father who left you so suddenly. We look forward to seeing all of you at the Eternal Family Reunion! You brought joy to our lives and now we rejoice in that you are with Christ in peace and joy. :) Remember us - and pray for us - until we are all together again.
