Lisa and I were very sad to hear of Vince’s passing. He was wealth of wonderful stories and information with all of his travels, readings and hobbies. I fondly remember visiting Vince and Carol, especially during holidays. I especially remember spending time with him viewing the stars and the moon in his telescope in his back yard on a beautiful summer night in Dover when I was young. And I enjoyed the times we shared when he moved to Hilton Head, SC. I will miss my Godfather.

I would like to extend my sympathy to Vince's sister and to Maxine and her family.
I am Mary Eldridge, first cousin to Vince's wife Carol. I enjoyed many years of family get-togethers with Vince. He always gave me his full attention when we talked. I loved to hear about the travelling he and Carol did. He was anxious to share his adventures, as well as listen to a young girl tell about her life and times.
I was very happy that Vince made a new life for himself in South Carolina. He wrote annually at Christmas and his notes "shone" with the light in his new life: his soulmate, Maxine. I wish I had the opportunity to meet Maxine and the family Vince was so proud of. When I wrote of my son, Ryan's experiences, Vince would tell me about a little one from Maxine's family. He enjoyed this extended family, it was evident.
I feel diminished because Vince no longer shares this earthly space, but feel that he is now on a new adventure - one that makes this life pale by comparison.
On behalf of my 90 year old mother, Helen Lambert (Carol's aunt by marriage), my brother, Wayne, and my husband, Mark and my 12 yr old son, Ryan - our sincere and heartfelt sympathy. Vince was a joy to know and love.

Saddened to learn of Vinnie's passing. We have many good memories of Vinnie - he was a fine, sincere, genuine person. He and Chuck shared their Scranton roots. God bless!
