I have been for years trying to locate and reunite with my old friend Anthony D’Amico. It is with great sorrow that after all these years, I find he is no longer with us.
My deepest sympathy to his dear wife and family.
After being drafted, Anthony and I along with nine other young men volunteered to go into the Marine Corps. We attended school in Quantico, Virginia, and then reported to camp Pendleton, California.
We were forming the fifth Marine division when they asked for
volunteers for Vietnam.
We landed at Da Nang airport on December 15, 1966 which happen to be my 20th birthday. We were together for about three months were as I was shipped out to another unit.
Anthony was a really great guy and good friend. I will surely meet up with him again when my time comes.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Sincerely, Michael P Connallon, Senior.

Tony was one of the best, he always made us laugh even under the worst conditions. He would give you the shirt off his back, and then give you more.
The summers at the pool, skiing in the winter, and trips to the top of Wildcat Ridge just to enjoy the view.
He made everyone he met feel welcome.
I had the privilege to live with Tony for 6 months, and they were unforgettable. My kids always loved to see you and visit the pool.
I will miss you, I hope you have already re-connected with Jimmy Capone and have brought your laughter and love to the Heavenly Gates.
God Bless Debbie, Danielle, Richie and the rest of your family, the world is a lesser place without you.
