Obituary of Joseph Lipinski

Joseph Lipinski, 86, died on Tuesday Oct. 22, 2002, at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange, NJ. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he spent 23 years in active duty in the US Army . Following his retirement from the military he lived in West Orange before moving to Rockaway Twp. in 1976, and later moving to Orange, NJ in 1982. He was in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korean War, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1961. Following his retirement he went to work as a Lineman at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., retiring in 1982. His Wife Lois nee Costa died in Dec. 1998. He is survived by his three daughters, Linda DAnton, Christine Knight, and Gi Gi Szollosy, and five Grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday October 26, 2002 at 9:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park 77 DeForest Ave. East Hanover, NJ.
