Albert E. Zimmerman, 75, died on Tuesday Feb.26, 2008 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville. Al was born in Denville where he lived his whole life. He had served in the U. S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He was a Computer Service Rep. for I. B. M. for over 31 years retiring in 1993. He had been very active in the Denville Community where he had served on the Denville Pride Council, and has been the Treasurer, a member of the Denville American Legion Post #390, the Denville Republican Club, a volunteer for the St. Clares Harvest Festival, He had been a Boy Scout Master with Troop #13 in Denville, Member of St. Cecilias Church in Rockaway where he has served as an usher. He is also a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Council # 3359, Knights of Columbus in Denville. He has also been a long-standing member of the N. R. A. His wife Suzanne died in January 2005. He is survived by his children Robert and his wife Reyna of San Diego, Ca., Mary of Essex, Vt., David, Joseph and his wife Michelle all of Denville, as well as his two grandchildren Trebor and Willow, and his sister Gloria Philhower of Sparta, NJ.
