Obituary of Andrew M. Rindos

Andrew M. Rindos died on Friday Sept. 6, 2002 in Kinnelon, NJ. At home with his family around him. He was 81 years old. Mr. Rindos was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived over 40 years in Demarest, NJ. He lived the last six years in Kinnelon, NJ.
Mr. Rindos was a Parts Manager for Chevrolet dealers in the Metropolitan New York area for many years. He retired in 1988. Mr. Rindos was a US Army Air Corp veteran and had served in WW II in Europe. He was a Past Grand Knight and the current Treasurer of Madonna Council 520 Knights of Columbus in Englewood, NJ. He was a member and volunteer of Our Lady of Magnificat Church in Kinnelon, NJ.
Mr. Rindos was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy. A devoted father of Susan Murphy of Stuart, FL and Denise DeBernardi of Kinnelon, NJ. Cherished grandfather of William and James Murphy, and Erin and Daniel DeBernardi. Brother of the late Margaret Rindos Kowalchuk, Mary Rindos Pohlman Marzorati, and Charles Rindos.
The family will gather at 9:30AM Tuesday Sept. 10, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ (973)-627-1880 to follow in funeral procession for a 11:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at Our Lady of Magnificat Church Miller Rd., Kinnelon, NJ. Interment St. Johns Cemetery Queens, LI, NY. Friends will be received on Monday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
