Giacomo Lombardo, 77, passed away on Tuesday December 25, 2012.
He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1949 and was a resident of Succasunna for 34 years. He was employed as a Butcher for the Shop Rite in Succasunna for 30 years retiring 15 years ago.
He was predeceased by his wife Francesca Lombardo in 1983, and his two brothers Salvatore and Anthony Lombardo.
Giacomo is survived by his children, Joanne Riegler and her husband Donald, Pietrina Ricco and her husband John, and Salvatore Lombardo, and his grandchildren, Donald and Francesca Riegler, Julia Rose Ricco, Matthew and Sarah Lombardo, and his brother Frank Lombardo.
Giacomo’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Giacomo on website), on Saturday December 29th at 8:30am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Therese Church, Succasunna, NJ, committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday December 28th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
